  • Parent Weekly Release Survey Open December 17-January 2

During the 2013-2014 school year, Republic School District began investigating the possibility of a weekly release that would provide collaboration time for teachers. At that time, parents and community members indicated support for this initiative, but had a variety of questions about the release time.

Investigation of a weekly release has continued this year as a committee of teachers and administrators have come together to study this possibility. After visiting neighboring districts, reviewing input from staff members and community patrons, and having purposeful conversations among the group; proposals are now ready for feedback. A survey to gather parent input has been created at the below link and will remain open until January 2.

  • Tiger STRIPES Request Pick-ups Only After 3:45 p.m.

In an effort to ensure the safety and security of your children, we ask that students enrolled in Tiger STRIPES not be signed out of the program by a parent/guardian until after 3:45 p.m. In many of our schools the bus lane is also used as the pick-up lane for Tiger STRIPES. To avoid potential accidents and congestion, we are asking for your help by implementing this time change on Monday, January 5.

If you anticipate the need to pick up your child prior to 3:45 p.m., please contact the front office where your child attends school by 3:00 p.m. and they will be switched to a car rider for that day. Thank you in advance for your understanding, patience and willingness to help us keep our students safe! If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Tiger STRIPES office at 735.3778.

  • McCulloch Elementary is a Latex Aware Campus

Please be reminded that products containing latex are not allowed at McCulloch. Students in our school have severe latex allergies.  Because allergies can be life-threatening, we are asking for each family's support in checking their child's belongings for latex before sending them to school.  We thank you in advance for your precaution and respect in helping us to keep our school safe for all. Most common products would include balloons, rubber toys, adhesive tape, bandages and rubber/latex bracelets.
