  • Drop-off and Pick-up Logistics Changes

The completion of the new transportation facility provides an opportunity for McCulloch to improve traffic flow around our building. Upon returning from Winter Break on Tuesday, January 5, McCulloch Elementary will be changing the drop-off and pick-up locations to address safety concerns and decrease wait times for families.

Once implemented, the bus lane will move to the front of the building and the parent/family drop-off and pick-up location will be on the west side of McCulloch Elementary.  To drop-off and pick-up students, vehicles can enter the driveway that wraps all the way around the back of the building off of Anderson Street. Exiting will require right turns only. This driveway around the back of the building will allow plenty of room for vehicles to be staged as they are waiting to drop-off or pick-up students which will eliminate traffic waiting on city streets.

The below map has been created for your reference.  We feel this change will allow for a decrease in wait times for our families, a safer car line for students, and the reduction of stationary traffic on Republic streets. Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience as we work to effectively implement this new process. Please contact the McCulloch office at 732-3620 with any questions or concerns.
