  • Expansion of Standards Based Grading

    We are excited about expanding Standards Based Grading here at Price! This best practice grade reporting system is going to tell us SO MUCH MORE about each student’s learning, and how we can work together to help them achieve their goals. Over the last two years about 71% of our elementary teachers in Republic have piloted SBG, and now 100% of Kindergarten through 5th grade across our district will be receiving grade cards and report cards using the Standards Based Grading practice.   • Price Pick-up Procedure

    Just a friendly reminder to all our new/returning Price Families, on our afternoon pick-up procedure.  We have sent home white cardstock student name plates.  Each student should have reiceved one, even if pick up is not a regular form on transporation for your student(s).  We ask that you keep this 'name plate' in your vehicle, to help when in the car pick-up lane.  

    At pick-up, please slide the 'name plate' into the front dashboard so that we are ablet o call your student to meet you, at a specific cone.  This will help the pick-up process move quick and orderly.  

    Please remember that if you do NOT have your 'name plate' with you/the responsible party, you will be asked to pull aaround and park at the front office, to get a new 'name plate' from the front office.  Photo ID will be required...even for our regulars.  After you receive your new 'name plate' you will be asked to join back in the pick-up line to pick up your student(s).

    We understand that there will be times that you are in a hurry or have simply forgot to hand off your name plate.  We just hope that you understand our purpose is to keep all children safe and our line moving along.  If you have any questions, or have lost/misplaced your student(s) name plate, plese contact their homeroom teacher, so that we can get you a new one ASAP.

  • SI Day in September

    Friday, September 23rd there will be NO SCHOOL for students, as teachers will be in meetings/training on this School Improvement Day.  We will see you all back in class on Monday, September 26th.  

    Enjoy this Friday with your family...but if you are needing a place for your kids, check into Stripes 360 for a full day of fun.  Moredetails on Stripes 360 on the distrcit & Price website.

    Monday, September 5th Republic Schools will be out of school, as we all celebrate Labor Day.

  • Spanish Class for Kids-hosted by Little Amigos

    Fall classes will be starting at Republic on Wednesday, Sseptember 7th.  Classes are held after schhol from 3:45-4:30pm at Price Elementary.  All students will be escorted by an approved supervisor, from their building to their Spansih class.  Pick up will be at 4:30pm at Price.

  • Price Fall Pictures

    Friday, September 30th Interstate will be at Price Elementary taking student & staff pictures.  Pictures will start at 8:45 a.m. so please have your students to school on time.  

    We will have more details on Fall Pictures, as the date draws closer, until then, check out Facebook to get 'picture day reminder' at: Inter-State Studio & Publishing Company.

  • Price Fall Book Fair

    Price will be hosting Scholastic for the Fall Book Fair during the week of September 9th-16th.  Book Fair hours will be  8:30 to 3:30 Monday-Friday for students to view and purchase books.  

    The book fair will also be open on Friday, September 16th during Grandparents' night, from 5:00-7:00pm so students, parents, and 'grands' can do any last minute shopping.

  • Grandparent's Night @ Price

    We are excited to continue the tradition of Grandparent's Night for our students.  It is always a pleasure to welcome our students' grandparents and 'grand friends' to our building!  Price will be hosting Grandparent's night on Friday, September 16th from 5-6:30pm.  

    Grandparents & their students will have the chance to tour the school and visit the classrom teacher.  There will also be a photo booth where you will be able to get your photo taken.  The cost is $5 for 2 4x6 photos (cash only).  

    A free admission ticket will be given to any grandparent and elementary student who would like to attend the RHS football game on Friday, September 16th against Ozark starting at 7:00pm.  The game will be held at the Republic Middle School, just a few blocks east of Price.

  • Price Rock the ROAR Assemblies

    This year, Price Rock the ROAR Assemblies will be held on the second Monday of every month from 8:45-9:30 AM, in the Price gym. (March is an exception because of spring break.)

    Assemblies allow us to recognize and honor students and staff who have shown Leadership in academic areas, attendance, or PBIS Matrix areas (Respect others, Optimistic attitude, Always safe, Responsible actions), as well as have a little fun together as a building.  

    Parents are always welcome to join us on our assembly dates to share in the fun!  Just remember to stop bythe front office to sign in.

  • Opt-In Required to Receive Texts

    phone The district's new mass notification provider requires that before a device can receive text messages from the school, an opt-in confirmation must be sent from the device.

    Keep in mind, the district uses text messages to inform you about important information like school cancellations, upcoming events, and emergency situations. To ensure you are as informed as possible, please REPLY “Y” TO THE TEXT MESSAGE MENTIONED ABOVE (SENT JULY 28) OR SEND A NEW TEXT TO 67587 WITH THE MESSAGE "Y" TO CONTINUE RECEIVING TEXT MESSAGES FROM THE REPUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT.
