  • Price Spelling Bee

Price Elementary will host a school-wide spelling bee on May 14. Using a specific grade-level list, each classroom will participate in a class spelling bee to determine who will advance to the grade-level spelling bee.

The idea was initiated by our Student Leadership Team, as they expressed an interest in hosting more academic competitions among students.

A list of words to study may be found below. The top six spellers from each classroom will advance to the grade level competition.

During this competition, the grade level will gather in the gym to watch the top students compete against each other for top prizes. Parents will be informed and invited to the grade level spelling bee if their child is a participant. Times will be as follows:

    • 2nd Grade: 1:00-2:00
    • 3rd Grade: 8:30-9:30
    • 4th Grade: 9:30-10:30
    • 5th Grade: 2:00-3:00

If you have questions about the spelling bee process or competition, please feel free to ask your child’s teacher or the front office.

  • Standardized Test Practice Opportunity

This web site provides students with an opportunity to practice tests that are similar to our end-of-year MAP tests. This online version will give students the same tools and user experience they will have on the actual test. This allows students to be comfortable with the test format before they actually take the test.
