  • Price Spelling Bee

Price Elementary will host a school-wide spelling bee on May 14. Using a specific grade-level list, each classroom will participate in a class spelling bee to determine who will advance to the grade-level spelling bee.

The idea was initiated by our Student Leadership Team, as they expressed an interest in hosting more academic competitions among students.

A list of words to study may be found below. The top six spellers from each classroom will advance to the grade level competition.

During this competition, the grade level will gather in the gym to watch the top students compete against each other for top prizes. Parents will be informed and invited to the grade level spelling bee if their child is a participant. Times will be as follows:

    • 2nd Grade: 1:00-2:00
    • 3rd Grade: 8:30-9:30
    • 4th Grade: 9:30-10:30
    • 5th Grade: 2:00-3:00

If you have questions about the spelling bee process or competition, please feel free to ask your child’s teacher or the front office.

  • Cafeteria Lunch Policy
Parents are welcome to join us to have lunch with your child any day beginning September 2nd. We ask that you please wait until this date in order for us to set and review cafeteria procedures and expectations with our students. When joining your child for lunch, a special parent table will be available for you in the center of the cafeteria. For the safety and privacy of our students, parents are asked to have lunch at this special table with your child(ren) only. We appreciate your understanding of this matter, as it allows us to keep our number one priority of student safety first, while also being able to welcome our families into our school building.
