  • Preschool Enrollment for 2016-17 School Year--Updated 9/16/16

    enroll

We are currently enrolling for the 2016-17 school year.  We currently have a few spots left in our Mon-Fri afternoon class and Mon/Wed/Fri afternoon class.  All other options are on a waiting list at this time.

Enrollment is first-come, first-served basis.  A completed Intent to Attend form along with a $30 non-refundable enrollment fee is required to secure a spot in the program (cash, check, or money order-no credit cards accepted).  Enrollment will continue until all spots are filled.  Once all spots are filled, a completed Intent to Attend form will place your child on the waiting list.

Preschool class offerings are based upon the child's date of birth as well as class structure and skill focus. Please review the class descriptions prior to enrolling.

Click on the link for the Intent to Attend form, Class Descriptions, and Payment Schedule for the 2016-17 school year.

  • The Early Childhood Center is a Peanut Free and Latex Aware Campus

Please be reminded that products containing peanuts or processed in a facility with peanuts not allowed at EC. In addition, products made with latex are also not allowed at EC. We have students with severe allergies who attend EC. Please check all labels to ensure that the product does not contain peanuts or latex. Because allergies can be life-threatening, we are asking for each family's support in checking their child's belongings for peanut products or latex  before sending them to school. We thank you in advance for your precaution and respect in helping us to keep our school safe for all.

District Announcements

  • Individual Student State Assessment Reports

Each spring students across the district participate in state assessments. We have been notified by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) that Individual Student Reports (ISR) are available.  During Parent Teacher Conferences, which will be held the week of October 31 (more information to come), individual student reports will be distributed to students who were in grades 3 and 4 that completed the MAP-GLA test last spring. Students who are in grades 5-8 that completed the MAP-GLA assessment last spring will receive individual reports attached to their next progress report from the Republic Middle School.  Students who are now at the high school in grade 9 will receive their reports during an upcoming Monday WIN time.  A guide to interpreting your child's results will also be included in a parent/guardian letter which will also be shared at that time.  If you have any questions or would like to see your child's report prior to the aforementioned distribution times, please contact your child's school counselor.
