  • Lyon "Lunch on the Lawn"

    You are invited to celebrate the end of a successful year with "Lunch on the Lawn". This fun event will be during your child's lunch time (see below for 1/2 day schedule) on May 13th, 2016. During lunch you will be served a school lunch in a summer beach pail. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets and join us for this fun event!

    RSVP's and pre-payment of $3.25 per lunch are a must to ensure you receive a pail lunch. Notes will be sent home with your child on April 25th, 2016.

    Lunch Schedule:

    5th Grade: 10:45

    Kindergarten: 10:55

    First Grade: 11:10

    Third Grade: 11:25

    Second Grade: 11:40

    Fourth Grade: 11:55

  • 5th Grade "Moving Up to Middle School" Information

    ATTENTION 5th GRADE FAMILIES: In a few short months your students will be headed into middle school. We have developed some resources to help make this transition a smooth one for your child and for you! Prior to the end of this school year our 6th grade counselor, Gen Nelson, will be coming over to visit each 5th grade classroom and will be bringing some 6th grade friends with her. In addition, all 5th graders will visit the middle school as well to get a tour and to hear from RMS Principal, Mrs. Herbold. Also, next August all 6th grade families are invited to an orientation just focusing on our 6th graders.

    May 2-6 is National Teacher Appreciation Week! At Republic we not only want to take the opportunity to share our deep appreciation for our AWESOME teachers, but we use this week to also thank each and every single employee on our district team. Regardless of position, each of our employees work hard daily to impact the lives of our students…to help them grow and learn, to help them eat healthy meals, to help them enjoy clean classrooms, to help them feel safe at school, to help them deepen their learning with technology, to help them travel to and from school each day, to help them be healthy, to help them learn in inviting facilities, and the list goes on! We have THE BEST district team, and we truly appreciate each one of you! Thanks for all you do for the students and community of Republic! #repmoproud #youarethebest #174daysoflollipops

  • ROAR Run, May 7...Packet Pick-Up, May 6 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at RMS

    roar run Join us Saturday, May 7 for the ROAR Run presented by Mid-Missouri Bank! Activities include a 5K race (run/walk) along with a 1 mile fun run/walk. The event will be hosted at the football stadium located at Republic Middle School


    The ROAR Run is an effort to provide our elementary and RMS running clubs an opportunity to reach their goal of completing an official race, raise funds for each of our school buildings, and take action in making Republic the healthiest community it can be! For those who have not registered, race day registration will be from 7:00-7:45 a.m. for the 1 mile, and 7:00-8:00 a.m. for the 5K register this Saturday, May 7. While a t-shirt is not guaranteed on Saturday, we hope to have a second order in before the end of the school year.


    Packet pick-up will be this Friday, May 6 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. in the RMS auditorium lobby. Please plan to pick up your packet and t-shirt at this time. This is for our 5K participants only. If you registered for the 1 mile you do not need to come to packet pick-up UNLESS you ordered a t-shirt.

  • Enroll Now through May 6 for Summer School! 

    CLICK HERE to see details and registration information regarding this year's summer school offerings. Registration will be online only, and the deadline to enroll will be May 6.
    Keep in mind, students will be enrolled in the grade level they will attend for the 2016-2017 school year (EX: current 5th graders will enroll at RMS as 6th graders, current 8th graders will enroll at RHS as 9th graders). This means that incoming kindergarten students are eligible to enroll as well!  
    Breakfast and lunch will be provided FREE of charge for all children 18 and under. Transportation will not be provided by the district.
    Summer school will take place Monday through Friday using the below schedule: 
    Elementary: May 31-June 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. (Kindergarten pick-up at 2:50 p.m.)

    RHS and RMS: May 31-June 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
