    We invite you to attend the second annual Republic State of the Community hosted by the Republic School District and the City of Republic on Thursday, November 13. The evening will feature dinner, entertainment and presentations from various community leaders beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Republic High School. Features include updates from Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Chance Wistrom, Mayor Brian Buckner and Presiding Commissioner for Greene County, Mr. Jim Viebrock. In addition, presentations will be made by representatives from the Republic Area Chamber of Commerce and the Republic Community Foundation. This gathering provides an opportunity for patrons to learn about happenings taking place all across our community. We hope to see you there!

  • Major Saver Discount Cards Fundraiser 10/30-11/11  

    Early childhood, elementary and middle school students will be selling $15 discount cards with 19 buy-one-get-one free offers starting Thursday, October 30th through Tuesday, November 11th. Major Saver cards can be purchased via cash, check or online at The online sale can be credited back to a particular student and school. All cards purchased online will be mailed directly to the customer. 

    Please consider purchasing a Major Saver card from a Republic student. The proceeds from these sales will benefit the participating schools and the Republic Community Foundation.

  • RHS Cheer Squad's Little Miss/Mr CHEER CLINIC

    Where: Republic High School main gym
    When: Saturday, November 15
    Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Cost: $25 ($30 if paid after November 10)

    Performance will be at the Republic High School gym on November 16 at 2:00 p.m. Contact Coach Shannon Dunn at 732-3650 ext. 5107 or with questions.

  • Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated October 27 - October 31.

    Monday: Wear RED to show your support for Red Ribbon Week.
    Tuesday: Wear your favorite superhero t-shirt to show you have the power to say no to drugs.
    Wednesday: Bring a can of vegetables for People Helping People to show you CAN be drug free.
    Thursday: Wear Hawaiian clothes as you ride the wave to a drug free life.
    Friday: Wear a Republic Tiger shirt or orange and black to show your Tiger pride by staying DRUG FREE!

  • PTO is hosting Fall Parties at Lyon Elementary on Friday, October 31. Kindergarten through Second grade parties will be from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Third through Fifth grade parties will be from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m.
