  • Republic Athletic Booster Club Needs YOU! 

    The Republic Athletic Booster Club needs YOU! The Republic Athletic Booster Club is a non-profit, parent-driven organization dedicated to supporting all Republic High School and Middle School sports teams. There is a tremendous cost associated with offering a competitive school athletic program and the Republic Athletic Booster Club is here to assist and support our athletes and coaches with this enormous effort.100% of the funds raised go towards supporting our Republic athletes with the supplies and safety equipment they need to reach their full potential as athletes. What has the Republic Athletic Booster Club done for Republic athletes: ·Support and recognize the efforts of our teams and athletes ·Provide equipment and gear to our teams and athletes ·Promote building team spirit, school spirit, and sense of pride in Republic athletics The Republic Athletic Booster Club is looking to fill open officer positions for the 2015-2016 school year. Whether you are interested in a board position or want to be a part of the volunteer pool, please come to the next meeting to learn more about Boosters and get involved.When there are more people involved, the work load becomes much lighter and more fun for everyone!     Monday, May 25: No school for Memorial Day
     
    Tuesday, May 26: Last day of school!
    Grade cards will be distributed on the last day.

    Medication Pick-Up Reminder 

    Parents of students that have medication stored at school, you are required to come to the nurse's office to pick up this medication during school hours prior to the last day of school (May 26). Medications not picked up by the end of the school day on May 26 will be disposed of as we can not hold them until next school year. Contact your school nurse with questions.

    Summer Athletic Camp Information 

    To find information regarding summer athletic camps, please click HERE (left side of the page) This information is housed on the RHS Athletic Department web page. Current camps include volleyball, tennis, soccer, basketball and football--elementary, middle school and high school levels available depending on the sport.

  • Summer School Begins June 1

    Summer School will be held June 1-26 this year for Republic students. Hours will be Monday through Friday using the below schedule. 

    RHS and RMS: 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 
    Elementary: 8:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Lyon Announcements

  • The Lost and Found at Lyon is overflowing!  If your child has lost a jacket, hat, lunchbox, or any other item of importance, please remind them to look on the Lost and Found rack.  Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the school year.

  • All library books were due last Friday. We still have many students who have not turned in their books. Students and teachers have received overdue notices. Books must be returned by this Friday. If they have been lost, the amount noted on the statement will need to be paid ASAP. Thank you for partnering with us in the Lyon Library!

  • Field Day is scheduled for Friday, May 22, rain or shine!  The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting.   Indoor activities are planned if the weather does not cooperate.  Please be sure to have your child wear tennis shoes and clothes appropriate for fun activities.  It will be an exciting day at Lyon Elementary!
