Mark Twain Award

The Mark Twain Award is an annual award given
to a book that has been voted on by Missouri students in grades 4-6.  
In order to vote in February, students must read FOUR of the
books from the current nominee list.  The winner of the award
is announced in April.

Truman Award
 The Truman award is a new annual award established for students
in grades 6-8.  Students who read FOUR of the books from the current nominee list may vote for their favorite in February.

Reading Celebration
In May, students who have read the required number of books
from the lists, will be invited to a Reading Celebration with food, fun,
and prizes.

5th Grade Students - read a total of 15 books from either the
Truman or the Mark Twain List

6th Grade Students - read a total of 18 books from either the
Truman or the Mark Twain List
