![]() Mark Twain Award The Mark Twain Award is an annual award given to a book that has been voted on by Missouri students in grades 4-6. In order to vote in February, students must read FOUR of the books from the current nominee list. The winner of the award is announced in April. 2008-2009 Mark Twain Award Nominees ![]() Truman Award The Truman award is a new annual award established for students in grades 6-8. Students who read FOUR of the books from the current nominee list may vote for their favorite in February. 2008-2009 Truman Award Nominees ![]() Reading Celebration In May, students who have read the required number of books from the lists, will be invited to a Reading Celebration with food, fun, and prizes. 5th Grade Students - read a total of 15 books from either the Truman or the Mark Twain List 6th Grade Students - read a total of 18 books from either the Truman or the Mark Twain List ![]() |
