    We invite you to attend the second annual Republic State of the Community hosted by the Republic School District and the City of Republic on Thursday, November 13. The evening will feature dinner, entertainment and presentations from various community leaders beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Republic High School. Features include updates from Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Chance Wistrom, Mayor Brian Buckner and Presiding Commissioner for Greene County, Mr. Jim Viebrock. In addition, presentations will be made by representatives from the Republic Area Chamber of Commerce and the Republic Community Foundation. This gathering provides an opportunity for patrons to learn about happenings taking place all across our community. We hope to see you there!

  • RHS Speech & Debate Seek Judges for Tournament 

    The RHS Speech and Debate Team is once again preparing for the Republic Speech and Debate Tournament on Friday and Saturday, October 31st and November 1st. This tournament will be hosted at Republic High School and will include both Varsity and Novice competitors. This group needs your help by volunteering to judge! There are time slots available from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on the 31st and from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the 1st. Any time you can contribute will be appreciated!
