  • PTO Meet the BOE Candidates Event April 2 

    The district's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is sponsoring a Meet the Board of Education Candidates event on Thursday, April 2 at 6:00 p.m. This event is open to the public and will take place at the district's Central Office (518 N. Hampton--back side of Price Elementary). 

    Questions and answers will be moderated by Republic Area Chamber of Commerce Director, Ron Peabody. The following individuals have filed to run for the Republic School District Boardof Education (listed in order as they will appear on the ballot). The election will take place on Tuesday, April 7, and two 3-year term seats will be elected on this date. Mr. Mark Gimlin and Mr. Gary Mooneyham currently hold these two seats on the Board of Education.

  • Kindergarten Screening Dates Set 

    The Republic School District will schedule kindergarten screening appointments starting Monday, February 23rd.  Kindergarten screening will be held for those children who reside in the Republic School District that will be 5 on or before July 31st

    Screening appointment times are from 8:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at the building your child will be attending. You will call your building of attendance for an appointment (phone numbers listed below).  

    To find out which building your child will be attending, go to the webpage and follow the instructions. If you have any questions, please contact the transportation department at 732-3680.

    Please allow 90 minutes to complete the screening. You will need to bring your child’s birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency (utility bill: water, gas, electric; rent receipt, or real estate contract) to the appointment. A list of your child’s doctors with phone numbers and emergency contacts with phone numbers will be helpful for you in filling out the forms.
