Just a reminder that meals (breakfast & lunch) cannot be charged during the month of May.

There must be a positive balance in your child's meal account for your child to purchase a meal while at school.  If a student goes negative, any amount, a Tiger Meal (soy butter sandwich & milk) will be provided until the account is brought back into the positive.

All meal balances carry over into next school year, so if your student(s) are negative at the end of this school year...your student will start off the 2018-2019 school year negative.

Balances can be checked online thru your Parent Portal account or by contacting the Food Service Office:  (417) 735-3753

Remember: There are only 15 school days in May.

  • Flu Symptoms

flu symptoms This flu season has been particularly rough. As a reminder, the flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by the influenza virus. It can be spread from person-to-person through the air by coughing or sneezing or by touching an infected surface and carrying it to your nose or mouth. Check out the graphic below for symptoms.

If your child develops flu-like symptoms, keep them home from school until at least 24 hours after they no longer have fever without the use of medicine. We recommend consulting with a doctor and making sure your child gets plenty of rest and fluids.
