  • 2018 Class Pictures 

    Class Pictures are in and they look great!

    We wanted to remind you all that by sending in $5 cash with your student, to their homeroom teachers, your student can purchase 1 class picture from the 2017-2018 school year.  Your student's teacher will have the pictures so your student(s) will bring the picture home the day they bring their money.  

    If you have any questions, you can contact the office between the hours of 8AM and 4PM Monday through Friday at: 417-732-3690

    Just a reminder that meals (breakfast & lunch) cannot be charged during the month of May.

    There must be a positive balance in your child's meal account for your child to purchase a meal while at school.  If a student goes negative, any amount, a Tiger Meal (soy butter sandwich & milk) will be provided until the account is brought back into the positive. 

    All meal balances carry over into next school year, so if your student(s) are negative at the end of this school year...your student will start off the 2018-2019 school year negative.  

    Balances can be checked online thru your Parent Portal account or by contacting the Food Service Office:  (417) 735-3753 

    Remember: There are only 15 school days in May.

  • District Wide Book Fair

    Dear Parents & Families:

    Republic School Libraries will hosting and end-of-the year book fair to give families & students an opportunity to purchase books for summer reading.  Giving kids the opportunity to choose their own books will motivate them to read more, and this fair will surrond students in the celebration of reading with hundreds of fun, engaging, afforable books for them to discover.  The district-wide book fair will be held in the Board of Education room located inside Price Elementary.

    The book fair willbe opened on Tuesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 3rd from 3:45-6:30pm.

    All proceeds from the book fair will be shared between the elementary & middle school libraries to provide resources for guest authors to come and visit with our students!  We have two special family nights planned. If you cannot make it to one of the events listed below, please feel free to shop online at district bookfair

    Shopping Hours: 3:45-6:30pm

  • Price Night @ Texas Roadhouse

    Price will be teaming up with Texas Roadhouse for a 'Price Family Night' at 255 E. Monastery, in Springfield on Tuesday, April 24th.  There will be games, prizes, face painting and a Sundae Bar offered througout the night between 4-10pm.  Don't forget to use call-ahead seating and check in at the host stand as a "Price Elementary" family to help shorten your wait!  (417)877-4650

    Remember to mention that you are a PRICE FAMILY when ordering.  10% of your food purchases will come back to Price and be applied to student incentives and fundsraising.  Hope you see you all there!

District Announcements

  • Last Day is May 21 (half day)

    Monday, May 21 will be the last day of school, and it will be a half day for students! Secondary students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. and elementary students will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m. EC will only hold morning classes and MPP students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Tiger STRIPES will be available for students currently enrolled in any capacity. Contact 735.3778 for questions. Please contact your school office if normal after school plans will be different than usual. Elementary grade cards will be distributed on the last day, RMS and RHS grade cards will be emailed in the coming days.


    TAKE NOTE: If your child has medication checked in to the school health office, please plan to pick it up during school hours prior to the last day of school. Any medications not picked up by 10:00 a.m. on the last day of school, May 21, will be disposed. Contact your child's school nurse with questions.

  • Summer School 2018

    Summer School Join us for summer school 2018! This free learning opportunity is available to incoming kindergarten students for the 2018-19 school year all the way through current 11th graders. We are also excited about providing free breakfast and lunch to ALL students in attendance.

    Elementary: May 29-June 22, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Kindergarten dismissal at 2:40 p.m.)

    **Available for incoming kindergarten students and current 2017-18 K-4th grade students.**

    RMS: May 29-June 22, Monday-Friday 7:40 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.

    **Available for current 2017-18 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th graders.** 


    TAKE NOTE: Students attending summer school must be up-to-date on all required vaccinations for the grade they will be in for the 2018-2019 school year.   • District Book Fair May 1 and 3

    Just in time for summer reading, the end-of-year book fair benefiting all buildings will take place on Tuesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 3 from 3:45-6:30 p.m. in the Board Training Room at Price Elementary (518 N. Hampton). Just enter through Price's front doors and head down the main hallway. If you can't be there in person, you can shop online at Happy reading!

  • FREE Tdap/Menactra Immunization Clinic

    Thanks to our partnership with Jordan Valley Community Health Center, the mobile clinic will be on site at RMS and RHS to administer FREE Tdap/Menactra immunizations to current 7th and 11th grade students as this vaccination is a requirement to enter 8th and 12th grades. CLICK HERE for a parent consent form that must be completed and submitted to school prior to the immunization clinic.

  • STRIPES 360 Summer Programming

    STRIPES 360 STRIPES 360 is excited to offer summer programming for students entering kindergarten through 6th grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Options are available for both students who are attending summer school and those who are not. We encourage you to register early as space is limited! The deadline to enroll is Friday, May 4.   • ROAR Run 2018, May 5

    ROAR Run logo Join us Saturday, May 5 for the Republic School District's ROAR Run presented by Mid-Missouri Bank! Activities include a 5K race (run/walk) along with a 1 mile fun run/walk. The event will be hosted at the football stadium located at Republic Middle School
    The ROAR Run is an effort to provide our building running clubs an opportunity to reach their goal of completing an official race, raise funds for each of our school buildings, and take action in making Republic the healthiest community it can be!

  • Can you judge Senior Projects on April 25?

    April 25 is Senior Project Night. It's a very special evening for our seniors who have worked so hard on their projects. There are over 210 students presenting...more than ever before! This means we need more judges than ever. Can you help?


    There are many different topics to choose from along with several different time slots throughout the evening. Help us honor these students by providing them with feedback on the hard work they've completed. Sign up now to judge at! Share with your friends as well!

  • Kindergarten Orientation

    Attention incoming Kindergarten families! An orientation will take place at your child’s school building this spring. This event will allow you and your child to visit the school he/she will be attending in the fall to meet teachers and administrators, tour the building, hear about kindergarten learning and your child will get to take a ride on a school bus! The dates for Kindergarten Orientation are below.  

    Kindergarten Orientation Schedule:

    Lyon - May 1, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

    McCulloch - May 7, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

    Price - April 19, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

    Schofield - May 3, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

    Sweeny - May 1, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

  • State Assessments to Begin April 23

    State assessments begin April 23 and run through May 4 for the Republic School District. Students in grades 3-8 will be participating in the MAP Grade-Level Assessments, and high school students will take End-of-Course (EOC) assessments. A more detailed schedule will be coming from your  child's school closer to the testing window opening. We encourage families to avoid scheduling appointments during this time frame. We appreciate your continued partnership in your child’s education!

  • District Launches Free Mobile App

    mobile app The Republic School District is excited to announce the launch of its free mobile app! To download, simply search for “Republic School District” in your app store. This free app has been designed to provide our patrons with a quick and easy resource for the most sought after information distributed by the district. 
    Upon downloading, you will be asked to set-up the app for your personal preferences. During this process you can tap to select the schools for which you’d like to receive information. At any time you can update your preferences in the app’s settings. Specifically, the calendar, announcements and notification areas will be customized to your school settings. Keep in mind the notification area will be used very minimally as we will continue to utilize the current text and voice calling system in place.
