Tracy Williams, Middle School Principal
    Mr. Tracy Williams is in his 21st year in education, 10th year as a building administrator and his 1st as the head principal of Republic Middle School. Mr. Williams began his teaching career in the Springfield Public School system, teaching at both the middle and high school levels. During that time, he also served as a head coach for both football and track teams. Prior to joining Republic Middle School, he was the building principal at Hickory Hills K-8 in Springfield, MO.
    Mr. Williams' wife is also in education. She is a kindergarten teacher at Horace Mann Elementary in SPS. Their oldest daughter will be starting her first year in college this fall and their youngest will be entering her sophomore year. Outside of school, Mr. Williams enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and discovering new restaurants in the area. 
    Mr. Williams is excited to begin his new role as the RMS principal and the opportunity to lead and serve the staff and students in the 2022-2023 school year. 
    Miranda Schaefer, Middle School Assistant Principal (A-E)
    Mrs. Miranda Schaefer is in her 14th year in education, 1st year as a building assistant principal at Republic Middle School. Mrs. Schaefer began her teaching career in Springfield Public Schools teaching elementary grades at both Bowerman and Hickory Hills. Then she became the Coordinator of Site Interventions at Hickory Hills School for at-risk middle school students.
    Mrs. Schaefer loves spending time with her three boys and husband Chris. They enjoy fishing, hiking, and traveling to new adventures as a family.
    Mrs. Schaefer is excited to begin the journey of supporting and serving the students, staff, and families of RMS. She will seek to create a positive learning environment for all students, while seeking to grow with the community.
    Bret Gallion, Middle School Assistant Principal (F-0)
    Mr. Bret Gallion graduated from Drury University with a B.A. in Mathematics and Secondary Education.  He also earned an M.Ed in Educational Administration from William Woods University.  Mr. Gallion spent his first 11 years in education at Parkview High School where he taught mathematics and coached baseball and softball.  He begins his first year in administration at RMS this year.
    Mr. Gallion’s wife is a mathematics teacher at RHS and is beginning her first year as the Head Cross-Country coach for the high school.  Their son was born last school year and they have been enjoying watching him grow and learn. Outside of school, Mr. Gallion enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities.
    Mr. Gallion has a passion for supporting people in accomplishing their goals.  He is excited about joining the REPMO community and the opportunity to serve the students and staff at RMS for the 2022-2023 school year.
    Shane Pierce, Middle School Assistant Principal (P-Z)
    Mr. Pierce is in his 24th year of education. He spent the last 22 years at Strafford Middle School. The first 4 years he taught 8th grade math, the next 7 years he was the middle school principal, and the last 11 years he has been the middle school assistant principal. While at Strafford he coached softball during his first 9 years, and then coached baseball for the  last 13 years.
    Mr. Pierce loves spending time with his two daughters and wife. Kate will be attending Harding University on a softball scholarship, and Sidney is a sophomore at Kickapoo High School. Kari teaches elementary PE at David Harrison Elementary.
    Mr. Pierce is excited to be a “Tiger” and looks forward to working with the amazing students, staff, and community of Republic Middle School.
