    Schofield students are creating Rocks of Kindness in art with Ms. Smith. Look for your child's rock in his or her backpack. Students are being encouraged to pass the rocks on to others to brighten their day. #SchofieldRocksofKindness

  • Schofield’s Library Book Fair

    August 25-September 1

    FAMILY NIGHTS

    Monday, August 28 from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. & Thursday, August 31 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

    Students will also be able to purchase books during their regularly scheduled library class, if you choose.

    Please make sure any money sent to school is enclosed

    in a labeled envelope with the amount, child’s name & teacher’s name.

    Please include tax (7.85%) for all purchases. We accept cash or checks payable to Schofield Elementary. Parents may use credit/debit cards at the Book Fair.

    If you send more than $10.00 cash or a blank check with your child, please include a note as to the maximum they are allowed to spend on what type of items.

  • Trevyor Fisher Named New Activities and Athletic Director Effective July 1, 2018

    Trevyor Fisher The Republic School District Board of Education is excited to announce Trevyor Fisher as the new Activities and Athletics Director beginning July 1, 2018. Mr. Fisher currently serves as a PE teacher at Republic High School and the varsity boys’ basketball coach, a role he will continue through the current school year and season. His prior experience has provided him with a variety of skills that will serve the students who participate in extra-curricular activities well.

     

    Mr. Fisher began his coaching career over 13 years ago at Missouri State University where he served as the Director of Basketball Operations. This position required Mr. Fisher to develop and utilize logistical and organizational skills along with the implementation of public relation efforts, fundraising campaigns and community involvement.

     

    He then joined the Republic School District team in 2012 in the roles that were mentioned above. As the boys’ varsity basketball coach at RHS he led the team in back to back Class 4 State Championships in 2013 and 2014. Also in those years, Mr. Fisher was named Class 4 MBCA Coach of the Year and District 11 Coach of the Year. In 2013 he was named Class 4 Missouri Sportswriters Coach of the Year, and his 2012 and 2016 teams also won Blue and Gold Tournament Championships.  

     

    Mr. Fisher indicated that he looks forward to “collaborating with students, teachers and coaches to grow the success and integrity of extra-curricular programs through building a culture of grit, determination and hard work.” Please join us in congratulating Mr. Fisher on his new role that will begin next school year.

  • FREE Flu Vaccine Clinics Coming to Schools via Jordan Valley Community Health Center

    In partnership with Jordan Valley Community Health Center, seasonal flu vaccines (shot form only) will be available to ALL STUDENTS free of charge on October 19 and 26. Jordan Valley's mobile health unit will come to each of our school buildings to provide this service. To participate, complete the consent form FOUND HERE and return to school at least one week prior to the clinic. The consent form refers to insurance information, please ignore this as this clinic is available to ALL students, regardless of insurance status. Please contact the nurse in your student's building should you have questions.

  • No School November 6 and 7

    Fall Break and STAR Summit (a school improvement day for teachers in conjunction with Nixa, Ozark and Willard), will take place on November 6 and 7. There will be no school for students on these days. Cub Care will be available for K-8 students. Families can register HERE now through November 2 at 4:00 p.m.

  • Individual Student State Assessment Reports

    Each spring students across the district participate in state assessments. We have been notified by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) that Individual Student Reports (ISR) are available.  During Parent Teacher Conferences, which will be held the week of October 30 (more information to come), individual student reports will be distributed to students who are currently in grades 4 and 5 that completed the MAP-GLA test last spring. Students who are currently in grades 6-9 that completed the MAP-GLA assessment last spring will receive individual reports attached to their next progress report from the Republic Middle School or Republic High School. A guide to interpreting your child's results will be included with the individual student report.  If you have any questions or would like to see your child's report prior to the aforementioned distribution times, please contact your child's school counselor.
