  • Schofield Night at Chuck E Cheese

    August 30th is the night, Schofield families! The Chuck E Cheese crew will be hosting Schofield educators, parents and kids from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. They will be sharing a percentage of sales with our school! Mark your calendars for some fun! Ms. Coursey will see you there!

  • Schofield T-Shirts Now Available

    It is time to start Livin' that Schofield Life, families! We have a limited supply of t-shirts available in youth sizes. Please send $12 cash in an envelope marked "Schofield T-Shirt" along with your student's name and size. Youth small, youth medium and youth large are the available sizes.

  • Schofield’s Library Book Fair

    September 16 – September 20

     

    Family Nights
    Monday, September 16, during Grandparent’s Night, 5 - 6:30 p.m. 

     

    Thursday, September 19, 3:30-5:30 p.m.

     

    Students will also be able to purchase books during their regularly scheduled library class, if you choose. Please make sure any money sent to school is enclosed in a labeled envelope with the amount, child’s name and teacher’s name. Please include tax (8.35%) for all purchases. We accept cash or checks payable to Schofield Elementary. Parents may use credit/debit cards at the Book Fair. If you send more than $10.00 cash or a blank check with your child, please include a note as to the maximum they are allowed to spend on what type of items. This year you may also utilize the free Scholastic Book Fair app or our online bookfair at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/schofieldelementary

  • New Visitor Management System

    As we kick off the new school year, we are also kicking off a new visitor management system that will help us electronically record and check the sex offender registry for anyone who visits and accesses our school buildings.  If you plan to visit our schools for class parties, as a guest speaker, volunteer (additional background check form still needed https://www.republicschools.org/Page/1189), to have lunch with a student, contractor, etc. you'll need to bring with you a state issued picture ID as a way to check in with our front offices.  We are excited about implementing this system as it helps us continue our focus of creating a safe and secure learning environment for our students and employees.

  • Important Birthday Treat Information

    At the August 15 Board of Education meeting board policy ADF (district wellness policy) was discussed. The conversation mainly centered around one component of the policy which states that the district will follow USDA Smart Snacks for celebrations and birthdays for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. After much discussion, the Board has asked the district to "pause" on the implementation of requiring that birthday and celebration treats meet USDA Smart Snack requirements. During this time the Board has requested that district administration and health services department investigate what is mandated by the state and federal government regarding this component of policy ADF. Administration will provide the Board of Education with this information and possible alternatives for review. During this review period the district will implement policy ADF as it did during the 2018-19 school year. Therefore, it will not be necessary to consult the USDA Smart Snack requirements until further notice.

  • Friday Early Release Friday Early Release 

    REMINDER! Each Friday throughout the school year full day preschool through 12th grade students will dismiss one hour early for teacher collaboration time. Please keep this in mind when planning your student’s afterschool plans. For details visit https://www.republicschools.org/fridayearlyrelease. Also, Tiger STRIPES will be available at no extra cost to families already enrolled from 2:30-3:30 and/or a cost of $3.50 per weekly release day for students needing care until 4:30 p.m. To attend Tiger STRIPES, families will need to sign up in advance.   • New Online Meal Payment Option through Parent Portal

    online meal pmt Through the SISK12 Parent Portal families have the option to make online meal payments through a secure system, ConnexPoint. Like other online payment systems a processing fee is applicable. ConnexPoint charges a 3.99% processing fee for transactions. To make an online meal payment simply login to the SISK12 Parent Portal, select the Meal Service Balance icon and follow the prompts.
     
     
    As a reminder, to find the Parent Portal simply visit republicschools.org and click on the "Parent Portal" icon. This can also be accessed through the district's free mobile app. As a reminder, to login use the email address you have provided to the district and enter the password you have created. If you’ve forgotten it, simply click on the “forgot password” button and follow the prompts. The Parent Portal is the same system used for back to school registration forms and to view student information like grades and attendance.

  • State Assessment Individual Student Reports

    Each spring students across the district participate in state assessments (MAP and EOC). We have been notified by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) that Individual Student Reports (ISR) are available.  For students currently in grades 6-12, ISRs will be distributed on September 9 for those who participated in state assessments last spring.  For students currently in grades 4 & 5, ISRs will be distributed to families during Parent Teacher Conferences the week of October 28 (more information to come).  
     
    Information for how to interpret your child's results will be included with the ISR.  If you have any questions or would like to see your child's report prior to the distribution times, please contact your child's school counselor or Jennifer Renegar, District Test Coordinator (732-3605, ext 6014).

  • Roundabout Roundabout Navigation

    MoDOT has opened the new roundabout near the M Highway entrance to RHS. CLICK HERE to view a brochure provided by MoDOT about navigating a roundabout. In addition, a video they have produced can be found HERE. Please review this information and we ask that parents/guardians share with student drivers. The aforementioned brochures were distributed to students at the August 1 Parking Pass Pick-Up event. In addition, support will be shared during class meetings on the first day of school and additional police presence will be in the area during the first few days of school. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this construction.
