To address the upcoming growth in our community, academic needs of our youngest learners and the safety of our students and employees; Republic School District is proposing a no tax levy increase bond issue on the April 6, 2021 election ballot. The following projects are part of this proposal:
These projects are estimated to cost $16 million and to be completed in the fall of 2022.
Regardless of the bond issue passing or failing, the tax levy will not change from its current rate of just over $4.15.

In our continued effort to help fight the spread of COVID19 we are working closely with the Springfield-Greene County Health Department on an exciting school-based project with Washington University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This project is a study of our COVID19 prevention strategies and quarantine/isolation procedures. These organizations are working with schools all across Missouri to gain insight on best practices that can be shared with others across the nation. They will be onsite in our schools over the next few weeks.
Participation in this project is completely voluntary! If your student tests positive for COVID19 or was exposed while at school, your student may be offered a free COVID19 saliva test (with parental consent) and asked to answer some questions that will assist us and our public health partners in knowing more about how to keep students safe in our schools during this pandemic.
REMINDER: The grant for FREE breakfast and lunch for ALL students has been extended through the rest of the school year! We're thankful to be able to provide this benefit to our families! #repmoproud

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department has released information in regards to schools implementing modified quarantines. This allows students to continue attending school after a properly masked, low-risk exposure to COVID19. In response, the Republic School District now requires all students in kindergarten and older in addition to all adults to wear masks while on campus or on our buses.
CLICK HERE for details on how this will impact Republic students.
Take note, if your child is exposed and qualifies for a modified quarantine you will receive an email notification, not a phone call. However, if your child needs to traditionally quarantine due to a high-risk, unmasked exposure you will receive an individual phone call.
