Lyon's office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm.
Please drop off your child in the back of Lyon prior to 8:25 a.m. each morning. After 8:25, all parents will need to park and walk their child through the front doors of Lyon.
Monday through Thursday: Due to end of day procedures, there will be no transportation changes after 3:00 p.m. and no student check outs after 3:15 p.m.**Friday: There will be no transportation changes after 2:00 p.m. and no student check outs after 2:15 p.m. Please call the office if you have any questions. Thank you for your understanding.
Progress reports will go home Thursday, September 20th. Make sure you take a look at your child's progress.

Students can earn free tickets to play games and win prizes by completing their reading log. Reading logs need to be turned in by September 19. Students should be reading 20 minutes per night to earn a max of 10 free carnival tickets.

Lyon's PTO meeting is scheduled for September 25th in the Library from 6:15-7:15 p.m. This is a great volunteer oppourtunity for parents to get involved with your child's school. We look forward to seeing you there!

Fall pictures will be taken on Thursday, October 4th. Please make sure your student arrives on time to ensure their picture will be taken. Retakes are scheduled for Thursday, November 15th
Our school is once again participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepskake products customized with your child's art!
In a couple weeks, your child will be bringing home a personalized order form. You can easily order products online using the code found on this form. Orders placed by October 12th deadline will be delivered just in time for the holidays!
Parent-Teacher conference will be held October 22-26. More information wil be sent home closer to the date.
There will be no school for students on Friday, September 21 for a scheduled School Improvement (SI) Day. For families in need of childcare, Cub Care through the STRIPES 360 program will be available for kindergarten through 8th grade students. CLICK HERE for more information.
This is a great tool that allows you to see grade information, meal service balances and to ensure contact information is correct. Speaking of this, please login to the Parent Portal and make sure the address, email and phone numbers we have on file for you are correct. You can find this information under the “Update Household Data” icon. Any changes you submit will be sent to your child's building office for final approval. Having updated contact information helps us to be able to communicate with families throughout the school year, and it also helps us determine correct busing routes.
