Lyon's office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm.
Please drop off your child in the back of Lyon prior to 8:25 a.m. each morning. After 8:25, all parents will need to park and walk their child through the front doors of Lyon.
Monday through Thursday: Due to end of day procedures, there will be no transportation changes after 3:00 p.m. and no student check outs after 3:15 p.m.
Friday: There will be no transportation changes after 2:00 p.m. and no student check outs after 2:15 p.m. Please call the office if you have any questions. Thank you for your understanding.
Background Check Forms need to be on file for each school calendar year. Please allow 5-7 days for background checks to be processed. If any parents, grandparents and other family members are planning to volunteer at the school or attend a field trip, a background must be on file for the school calendar year.

Join us for some fall fun! Lyon Elementary Fall Parties wil be on October 26th. The following times for each grade level are listed below:
2nd grade 8:30-9:15 a.m.
4th grade 9:20-10:05 a.m.
Kindergarten 10:10-10:55 a.m.
5th grade 11:00 -11:45 a.m.
3rd grade 12:15-1:00 p.m
1st grade1:05-1:50 p.m
Lyon's PTO meeting is scheduled for October 23rd in the Library from 6:15-7:15 p.m. This is a great volunteer oppourtunity for parents to get involved with your child's school. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our school is once again participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepskake products customized with your child's art!
In a couple weeks, your child will be bringing home a personalized order form. You can easily order products online using the code found on this form. You also have the option to have keepsakes shipped to your home or sent to the school. Check out https://order.arttoremember.com when you receive your personalized order form.
Orders placed by October 17th deadline will be delivered just in time for the holidays!
Parent-Teacher conference will be held October 22-26. More information wil be sent home closer to the date.
Please join us on Monday, November 12 from 7:30-8:10 a.m. in the Lyon gym for fun morning while we celebrate Veterans Day! Muffins and juice will be served to Lyon students and families from 7:30-7:40. Special guests from the Republic High School Junior ROTC will have a patriotic presentation beginning at 7:45. Lyon students are welcome to invite a special Veteran to this event! See you soon!
This is a great tool that allows you to see grade information, meal service balances and to ensure contact information is correct. Speaking of this, please login to the Parent Portal and make sure the address, email and phone numbers we have on file for you are correct. You can find this information under the “Update Household Data” icon. Any changes you submit will be sent to your child's building office for final approval. Having updated contact information helps us to be able to communicate with families throughout the school year, and it also helps us determine correct busing routes.
