American Fidelity Assurance Company representatives will be in the district to provide the yearly employee benefit package review. This review is provided annually to all employees who work 20 hours or more, which include voluntary benefits offered through payroll deduction, plus the benefits of Section 125 Flexible Benefit Plan. Open enrollment for ancillary products is typically during September - October. This is the window of opportunity for employees to change or add American Fidelity products for an effective date of January 1.
Dental and vision insurance open enrollment is typically in May with an effective date of July 1st.
Health insurance open enrollment is typically in May with an effective date of July 1st.
American Fidelity open enrollment for the cafeteria plan and ancillary products is in September with an effective date of January 1st.
Specific information regarding each of these open enrollment periods will be distributed to all staff via the Staff Communicator (which will also be posted in each building/facility) as the time approaches.
