The following information is in reference to:
Section 125 Open Enrollment
American Fidelity Assurance Company representatives will be in the district to provide the yearly employee benefit package review. This review is provided annually to all employees who work 20 hours or more, which include voluntary benefits offered through payroll deduction, plus the benefits of Section 125 Flexible Benefit Plan. Open enrollment for ancillary products is typically during September - October. This is the window of opportunity for employees to change or add American Fidelity products for an effective date of January 1, 2018.
Dental and vision insurance open enrollment is typically in May with an effective date of July 1st.
Health insurance open enrollment is typically in May with an effective date of July 1st.
American Fidelity open enrollment for the cafeteria plan and ancillary products is in September with an effective date of January 1st.
Specific information regarding each of these open enrollment periods will be distributed to all staff via the Staff Communicator (which will also be posted in each building/facility) as the time approaches.

The Affordable Care Act and subsequent federal regulations require group health plans and health insurance issuers to create and distribute a Summary of Benefits and Coverage ("SBC") document to all plan participants and beneficiaries. Links are found below with this required information:
E-Verify Information (I-9):
Republic Schools participates in the E-Verify Employment Verification Program for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices as required by law. This process is used for all new hires at Republic School District. Should you be offered a position in the district, you will need to download the form and gather the acceptable documents from the list provided. Please bring the required documents to the Human Resource Department.
