AP AMERICAN GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS (H) – (1 unit, Gr. 11-12) Advanced Placement American Government and Politics is an Honors class designed as an equivalent to a college level class in American Government. Students will study the constitutional foundations of government, rights and liberties of citizens, structure of government, the American political system and public policy. Students who satisfactorily complete this course should be able to complete the AP test in American Government given by The College Board at the end of the school year. Students will be able to receive college credit through the AP exam. All students must take and pass the United States Constitution exam.
