Republic School District receives federal funding through Title I, II, III and IV. These funds assist us in offering additional supports and services to our students.
The five elementary buildings within the Republic School District implement a schoolwide Title I program. These funds are used to help support our learners through Reading Recovery services, additional materials and supplies for students, Instructional Coaches and to support The Leader in Me.
Title II funds are used to improve teacher and principal quality. This is done by increasing the number of highly qualified teachers, principals, and other school leaders through professional development and additional supports for new teachers.
This program ensures that English Learner students, including immigrant children and youth, attain English language proficiency and meet the same challenging academic standards that other students are expected to meet.
The three main priorities of Title IV are to provide all students to a well-rounded education, to improve school conditions for learning, and to improve the use of technology.
