Mrs. Tonia Herbold, Middle School Assistant Principal (P-Z)

Mrs. Herbold graduated from College of the Ozarks with a BS in Education with a minor in Psychology. She also earned her Master's in Administration degree from Missouri State University. She completed NISL (National Institute for School Leadership) in the Fall 2015.
She began her career at Mansfield School District teaching K-12 Physical Education and coaching girls basketball on the middle school and high school levels. After five years, she had the opportunity to become a "Tiger" and has never looked back. She has taught at RMS as a physical education teacher and a girls basketball coach for 14 years. She was the Assistant Principal from 2012-2015 and has returned to this role. She served as the Principal from 2015-2017.
Mrs. Herbold has been involved with multiple student and community engagements throughout her years at Republic. She is dedicated to creating a positive learning environment for students and continues to set excellence as the standard for all students.
When not at school Mrs. Herbold enjoys spending time with her son Brendon, and supporting Tiger athletics and events!

Mr. Michael Wright, Middle School Assistant Principal (F-O)

Mr. Michael Wright graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a BS in Education (Instrumental Music). He also earned a Masters in Administration degree from Lindenwood University.
Mr. Wright comes to Republic with 21 years of teaching grades 5-12 in various musical settings. Fifteen of those years were served at Clever schools. He entered administration as the Sparta HS Principal.
Mr. Wright brings a passion for helping students succeed in and out of the classroom. While not at school, he enjoys time with his wife and kids traveling and exploring new adventures.
