Hello everyone! My name is Emily Dorrell and I will be teaching 5th grade at Schofield this year. 

This is my 5th year of teaching - all in 5th grade! I graduated from Missouri State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. My main goal this school year is to build a strong community within my classroom and harvest clear, effective communication with home. 

I love anything and everything caffeinated or chocolate. In high school and college, I worked at a movie theater - so I love movies (especially Marvel movies). My hobbies include hiking, organizing, and traveling. My favorite school subject is Social Studies. Over the summer, I got married to my best friend, Luke! You may have seen my name around Schofield last year as Ms. Compton. We are proud cat-parents to Ned, and dog-parents to Daisy and Goose.
