Hi Everyone! Welcome to Sweeny Elementary Music! Home of the Sweeny Leaders! We love to celebrate each day with singing, dancing, instruments, and a lot of fun! I'm so happy you're here!

I am honored everyday to introduce young musicians to the world of music. I was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri, where I was active in sports and music as a kid. I attended Culver-Stockton College and received my Bachelors in Music Education, with an emphasis in Jazz Studies in 2003. This is my 18th year teaching. I taught for 9 years in St. Louis, and this is my 9th year as a Republic Tiger!

I have an amazing family to support me, and keep me accountable. My husband, Mr. Logsdon, is the Computer Teacher at Price Elementary. Together we have 2 amazing daughters, some funny cats, and the perfect pup "Pansy" to round out the Logsdon Household! Together, we love to sing, dance, play different instruments, attend live music events, go on hikes, and my favorite... FISHING!
