Hello!  My name is Alana Hutchison.  This is my second year at Lyon!  I'm so happy to be here! This is my fifteenth year in education.  I was a teacher at Irving Elementary in Joplin before coming to Republic.  I taught third grade for ten years, and first grade for three years before that. I grew up in a small town, Warsaw, MO, with my parents, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.  I am married to Matt, and we have one son, Peyton.  We love traveling, camping, and kayaking.  I went to Missouri State for my undergraduate degree, and attended William Woods for my graduate degree.  I absolutely love being a teacher, and I cannot wait to build a relationship with you and your child.  Feel free to contact me anytime!
