Hello! I am so excited about joining the Sweeny family and becoming a Republic Tiger. This will be my ninth year in education. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and now 4th grade for the past few years. I grew up in Willard, MO and graduated from Missouri State with my bachelors in education in 2012. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Chris. We just celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary this past summer and have one daughter, Emma. Outside of school, I like to bake, party plan, and shop. My family and I like to spend time together outside taking walks, and swimming. We also love a good movie night, with lots of snacks, of course! At school, I value growth mindset and student-centered classrooms, where students do the bulk of the talking and thinking themselves. Let's learn and grow together! #RepMOProud
