Hello! My name is Michaela Lovig and I am thrilled to be teaching music at Lyon! I began as a long-term substitute last fall and am excited to continue building relationships with students. I graduated with my Bachelors in Vocal Music Education from Missouri State in the fall of 2020 and plan to pursue a Masters degree in the near future. During my undergrad, I had an active role in the choral program which gave me the opportunity to travel all over the world, record commercial choral albums, and further my love of music. Outside of school, I enjoy running, sewing, making pottery, cooking, and spending time with my two greyhounds.
