My name is Dan Vales and I am a Special Education teacher at Republic High School. The focus of my instruction is in math and helping my student develop study/career skills in resource class. I teach daily: Small group section section of Geometry, small group section of Algebra II, Resource, and co-teach Geometry with Ms. Ashley Shelton. Additionally, I serve as the Special Education Department head. Outside of class, I am the RHS head boys and girls tennis coach.
Tutoring: By appointment. If a student asks for help outside of class, I will find a way to setup time to work with him/her. Example: Last school year I assisted a student outside of class complete multiple credit recovery classes- as a result she graduated this past spring!
RHS Core Tutoring is also available in the library from:
On student's Canvas pages, you will find course calendars for each class I teach and links to classroom assignments, notes, etc. You can log on to Canvas by clicking the Canvas link underneath the "Students" tab on the Republic High School home page.
