|Mrs. Amber Sainz, McCulloch Elementary Principal
Welcome to McCulloch Elementary!! My name is Amber Sainz and it is truly my honor to be the principal at McCulloch Elementary. I grew up in Willard, MO, where I graduated high school. I then earned my B.S. in Elementary Education from Missouri State University. I started my teaching career in Willard as a classroom teacher and Reading Recovery teacher. I moved to Republic, MO where I have spent the majority of my career as a Title I reading teacher, classroom teacher, and Literacy Coach in the district. I received a Master's Degree in Reading and a Master's Degree in Administration also from Missouri State University. I started my administration career at Hollister, MO and I'm now in my second year as principal at McCulloch in the place I will always consider home.
I'm married and have two boys, Gabe (8th grade) and Joshua (4th grade) who both attend school here in Republic. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, and you might see me running around town as I love to run! I look forward to forming a positive relationship with our students, families, and community for the success of our children. Go Tigers!!
|Mrs. Helen Williams, McCulloch Elementary Assistant Principal
I am so excited to be back at McCulloch for the 2018-2019 school year! I graduated from Mizzou with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. After graduation I was an assistant director of a St. Louis day care. I came back home to Springfield and obtained my teaching certification in early childhood education and elementary education. Later, I earned my Masters Degree in Education Leadership from William Woods University.
Throughout the course of my teaching career, I taught various elementary grade levels. In fact, I taught 1st grade for 9 years! Most recently, I was a teacher for Springfield Public Schools.
My husband, Lance and I have two children, Gavin (8) and Annie (5).
I love McCulloch! I am so happy to be with the wonderful staff, students and families!
