    BETA CHI PI
     A SCIENCE HONOR SOCIETY
     Republic High School

Students acquire membership in Beta Chi Pi by earning points from grades they receive each semester, from participation in and awards received from science contests, from service to the science club, etc. These points are submitted to Mr. Morton each semester.Students must earn a minimum number of points to be granted membership in Beta Chi Pi.

One of the rewarding aspects of membership in Beta Chi Pi is that there are different levels of recognition. As a result, one can acknowledge student success several times and students can be challenged to continue to do their very best. There are three levels of membership:

Beta or Honors level                         300 points
Chi or Cum Laude level                    400 points
