    ROAR Run Join us Saturday, May 4 for the Republic School District's ROAR Run presented by Mid-Missouri Bank! Activities include a 5K race (run/walk) along with a 1 mile fun run/walk. The event will be hosted at the football stadium located at Republic Middle School. 
     
    The ROAR Run is an effort to provide our building running clubs an opportunity to reach their goal of completing an official race, raise funds for each of our school buildings, and take action in making Republic the healthiest community it can be!
     
    Reminder, ROAR Run is a rain or shine event!
     
    The deadline to pre-register was April 25. However, registration will be available at packet pick-up and before the race, per the below schedule.
                                                                              
    Schedule of Events:
    Friday, May 3:
    Packet pick-up 2:00-6:00 p.m. in the RMS auditorium lobby (5K participants and t-shirt pick-ups only)
     
    Saturday, May 4:                                              
    7:00 a.m. Race day registration (1 mile closes at 7:45 a.m. and 5K closes at 8:00 a.m.)                  
    8:00 a.m. 1 mile fun run/walk begins                      
    8:30 a.m. 5K race begins

    Costs:
    1 mile fun run/walk is FREE, but no t-shirt is included
    $5 for t-shirts only
    $10 for Republic School District Students & age 17 and under 
    $15 pre-registration/$20 regular/race day registration for Republic School District Employees
    $20 pre-registration/$25 regular/race day registration for Adults
     
     
    Registration: Pre-registration closed April 25. However, registration will be available at packet pick-up and before the race, per the above schedule.To register, please complete a printable registration form found HERE (copies will be distributed to students the week of April 1, and copies are also in each school office) and mail/deliver to your child's school building or to Republic School District Central Office (518 N. Hampton, Republic 65738) by April 25 (postmarked by April 23).
     
    Online registration is also available HERE, but please note there's an additional processing fee added to the above base prices.  
     
    *No refunds will be issued, and t-shirts are available only as supplies last for race day registration. 
    *Students who qualify for free/reduced meals are eligible to participate at no cost. Details are on the registration form, both printed and online.

    In addition, our goal is to provide an event for our families that is cost effective and allows our students to achieve their goal of completing an official race. All students who qualify for free/reduced lunch rates are not charged a fee to participate. That said, if you'd like to assist the school district in covering those costs, we invite you to sponsor students to participate for a suggested cost of $10.
