What's the focus of Summer SLAM?
The elementary summer school program, SLAM 2017 (Summer Learning And More) is going to center around service learning. We are also very excited about offering Spanish as a specials class for all of our SLAM students! Current assistant principal at Price Elementary, Erin Wayt will be the Elementary Summer School Principal, and Mrs. Leanne Gove (Current 5th grade teacher at Price & 2017-18 Lyon Assistant Principal) will serve as Lead Teacher to assist Mrs. Wayt. We are looking forward to a summer full of leadership development and learning from leaders in our community!

Where is Summer SLAM located?
Just as last year, SLAM 2017 will be housed in two buildings. Since no transportation is provided during summer school, this will help us ensure a smooth traffic flow process for our community. Sweeny and Price will be the two sites used. Sweeny will house all students who regularly attend Sweeny and Lyon, while Price will house all students who regularly attend Price, Schofield, and McCulloch. If you do not attend the Republic School District, but are joining us for Summer SLAM and are unsure of the location you are to attend, please call 417.732.3690.
