Amy Kendrick Named December RepMO Hero!
We had such a fun time at McCulloch Elementary surprising Special Education Teacher, Amy Kendrick as the DECEMBER REPMO HERO OF THE MONTH!!! Mrs. Kendrick is an incredible educator who goes above and beyond the call of duty each and every day to serve her students and also fellow teammates. We are beyond lucky to call her ours!
A compilation of nominations received in regards to Mrs. Kendrick from district employees is below. She will be honored at the January Board of Education meeting, and will also receive $500 to be spent on the resources of her choice. Congratulations, Mrs. Kendrick!
Amy Kendrick provides outstanding levels of support and instruction each and every day for her students. Amy works very well with students who need increased support and tries her best to help her students be successful. There are days when her job is physically and emotionally demanding. However, her spirits are always high with a focus on her students! She not only supports her students, she also supports other staff members. Mrs. Kendrick will jump in and help any staff member while helping a student through a tough moment. She does this willingly and with a positive disposition. Often times she is able to step in and help when staff members are most in need while helping a student. Her efforts as a caring teacher and staff member are certainly noticed and worthy of a REPMO Hero!
Amy has an amazing way of building relationships with her students while supporting their high needs to ensure they are successful at the same time. She is a wise and calming presence throughout the building. Amy will jump in to support and coach staff members as she is needed in the building. She is a great resource and will help others problem solve through any situation. She remains positive no matter what the circumstances, and this is reflected through all she does every day. McCulloch is blessed to have Mrs. Kendrick!
In addition to celebrating Mrs. Kendrick, we'd like to honor the following individuals who were nominees for the month of December. We are incredibly #repmoproud to call these teammates Republic Tigers! They work incredibly hard each and every day to help us meet our mission of "preparing each student for a successful future."
