SPED Annual Determination Score Over 99%

We’d like to take a minute to brag on our Special Education Department (SPED) teammates. All districts in Missouri participate in a three-year monitoring process to measure their compliance with program requirements. We recently received the results of our latest review and based on 375 indicators looking at a cross section of data showing how we serve various ages, grade levels, buildings, disabilities and placements Republic School District’s SPED team was determined to be greater than 99% compliant! We also received a scale from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with a classification of our results and we were rated a FOUR, the top score, in every area! The state average is 3.33. As a district, we have more than 62 special education providers serving 600+ students in preschool through 12th grade in 16 different categories of eligibility. To be rated "4" in every area is strong evidence of the hard work and dedication to students with disabilities that's being put into action every day by our amazing team! #repmoproud
