Hello,

I'm Ms. Jody and I am an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the Republic School District. This is my 5th year with this wonderful District. I have 30 years of teaching experience and this will be my 5th year with Republic. I am going on my 24th year teaching early childhood special education. I love working with 3-5 year olds. I embrace and love all of the challenges and successes that come with teaching my students. I strive to challenge my students to reach their highest potential as they prepare for kindergarten. I love building relationships with the families that I serve. I truly believe it takes a whole team effort to provide the best education for your child! Miss Madison will be my new classroom para this year. She comes from Schofield Elementary. I can’t wait for her to meet our little friends and to utilize her talents in my classroom! She is such a great addition to our ECSE Team! Ms. Amanda’s role will look a little different this year as she will be a floater para for the ECSE Team to provide additional para support in the classrooms. Outside of work, I am married to (Mike) and have 1 son (Hayden). Hayden is our pride and joy and is going to be a Senior in High School this coming school year. We are busy going to football games, supporting his other activities, and going to other sporting events throughout the school year. I enjoy spending time with Mike and Hayden, friends, family, enjoying the outdoors, fishing, gardening, reading, watching Royals/Cardinals baseball, and of course my Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Team (we can only get better), and lastly watching our KC Chiefs! I look forward to being in our new beautiful Early Childhood Building and can't wait for all of the exciting learning that is going to take place in my classroom! I am so looking forward to educating your child and can't wait to get the school year under way! Welcome to the 2022-23 School Year!
