World Languages
The World Languages department works to bring students from an introductory level of language acquisition to an advanced level that will prepare students for university level World Language courses. Students learn skills to function in a foreign country with an understanding of the country’s culture, history and society as a whole. The aspects of World languages teaching set by American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) that will be incorporated in the class are: communication, cultures, connections, comparisons and communities.
