Dr. Matt Pearce Day June 2. Wear orange & black, complete 30 min of movement and give back.

As proclaimed by Mayor Eric Franklin and in partnership with the City of Republic, we are excited to celebrate “Dr. Matt Pearce Day” on June 2! This effort is to honor Dr. Pearce’s upcoming retirement after a remarkable 30 years in education along with his lasting impact on our students, teammates and community. 

The date, 6/2, was specially selected to recognize Dr. Pearce’s longtime Tiger spirit and his Mizzou football jersey number: 62.

As part of the celebration, we invite our community to participate in the “Pearce Protocol” in honor of Dr. Pearce’s legacy of leadership and service:
