Incoming freshmen at Republic High School will kick off their high school journey during Freshmen Orientation on Thursday, July 31, from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Republic High School.
The event is designed to help new students feel confident and connected as they prepare for the year ahead. From 3:00 to 6:30 p.m., students will be greeted by RHS Student Ambassadors and split into small groups to explore the building, learn lunch procedures, gain helpful tips for success, and walk through a simulated class schedule.
A parent orientation session will take place at 5:45 p.m. in the auditorium.
Important Reminders:
Students should wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
Bring a writing utensil.
Please note: We feel your student will get maximum benefits from orientation if they are able to attend the entire event. However, we understand transportation may be difficult during this time frame, so if bringing your student late is the only option, then please bring them late. We feel attending part of the event is still beneficial. Additionally, please understand that due to the scheduling of facility space, faculty members, and student leaders, we are unable to offer an alternative date. If you and/or your student are not able to attend, we encourage you to attend Open House on August 12
