Welcome to Summer SLAM 2025!
We are excited to partner with you and welcome your student(s) to summer school this year.
The first day is Wednesday, May 28.
Here are some important details for Summer SLAM. An additional email with pick-up and drop-off procedures and car line information will be sent later this month.
We hope to see everyone on Tuesday, May 27, for the SLAM Open House from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM! This will be a come-and-go event. It's a great opportunity to tour the school building, meet your child's summer school teacher, drop off supplies, and pick up important items for the first day of school. Summer SLAM 2025 will be housed in two buildings, Schofield Elementary and Sweeny Elementary. Since transportation is not provided during summer school, this will help us ensure a smooth traffic flow process for our community. Sweeny will house all students from Lyon, Price and Sweeny, while Schofield will house all students from McCulloch and Schofield.
In addition, class lists will be posted on the front door of your child's summer school building. You will also receive your student's teacher assignment via email. These will be available on Friday, May 23 by 4:00 PM.
Summer SLAM Administration
Mrs. Katie Bollinger, current Schofield Assistant Principal, will be serving as the SLAM Principal at Schofield Elementary and Mr. Allan Brown, current Price Principal, will be serving as the SLAM Principal at Sweeny Elementary. During these four weeks, there will also be assistant principals in each building. The assistant for Sweeny is Ms. Brianna Schaefer. The assistant for Schofield is Mr. Matthew Hotl.
