Due to forecasted inclement weather and anticipated poor road conditions, Republic Schools will not hold in-person classes on Tuesday, January 9. Winter Break is less than ONE WEEK AWAY! The Republic School District will be closed for Winter Break on December 20 through January 3. Students will not attend school on Wednesday, January 3, as it will be a teacher work day. The second semester will begin on Thursday, January 4. #RepMOProud

SOCKTOBER is in full swing! Join us in collecting socks throughout October for local philanthropic groups, including our own Price Tag and Locker 518 free clothing stores. To participate, send new socks to school with students or drop off donations to any building office!

In response to a survey in early 2023, our district added 10 minutes to the end of each school day, which allowed us to incorporate a four-day Fall Break into our school year calendar! The district was also able to extend Winter Break.
During Fall Break, there will be NO SCHOOL for students October 27-30. We'll resume classes on Tuesday, October 31! #RepMOProud

Missed learning has an effect on student achievement. Republic High School students with higher attendance rates, also had higher Grade Point Averages. As shown in the graph, as attendance rates decline, so do GPAs.
In addition, we know that most students who graduate from RHS continue their education or transition directly into the workforce. Regardless of their path after graduation, attendance will be vital. As we encourage strong attendance for middle and high school students, we support their development of good habits for whatever their future holds.
