Thank you to our community for PASSING the no tax levy increase bond issue for a new 5th and 6th grade center on April 4, 2023! Below, you'll find updates regarding the process of the future "Republic Intermediate School," which will be a new school building for all 5th and 6th grade students in the Republic School District. It is estimated to be completed in time to open for the 2025-2026 school year.

As a reminder, the Republic Intermediate School will be located on land the district purchased in December 2022 near James River Freeway and U.S. Highway 60. 

Below you will find updates regarding the progress of the new Republic Early Childhood Center (completed July 2022) and Schofield Elementary gymnasium/high wind shelter (completed April 2022). In addition, there is an update regarding the purchase of land to build a new school. Below you will find updates regarding the progress of the activity facility at Republic High School which was completed in August 2018.  Thank you to our community for voting YES at 71.8% on April 4, 2017!
