Hi! My name is Ashton Rogers and I have worked in the healthcare field for the past 15 years. My nursing background includes Emergency Nursing and Utilization Management. I worked at a local ER for 10 years and served on their Leadership Team as the Nurse Educator for three years. In 2016, I received the local ENA Chapter Educator of the Year Award. My most recent experience has been working remotely for five years as a nurse consultant. I am married to Corporal Rogers from the Republic Police Department and combined we have four children! For fun, I enjoy gardening, camping, kayaking, and watching my nephews and kids play sports. We also stay busy at home with our "funny farm".
While working from home, I started to realize just how much I miss working with patients face-to-face. I truly feel blessed to be the District's Float Nurse where I can utilize my clinical practice, knowledge, and skills. I am SO excited to work with kids of all ages to help ensure they remain healthy and safe while they are in school. I look forward to learning more about the District and getting to know all of the students, their families, and the staff.
