Title Information

The Republic School District receives federal funding through Title I, II, and IV. These funds assist us in offering additional supports and services to our students and staff.

Title I
Title I funds are used to help support our learners through Reading Recovery services, additional materials and supplies for students and by funding parent engagement opportunities. The following sites receive Title I funding: Lyon Elementary, Price Elementary, Schofield Elementary, and Sweeny Elementary.

Title II
Title II funds are used to improve teacher and principal quality.  This is done by increasing the number of highly qualified teachers, principals, and other school leaders through professional development and additional supports for new teachers.

Title IV
The three main priorities of Title IV are to provide all students to a well-rounded education, to improve school conditions for learning, and to improve the use of technology. These funds are used to help implement Leader in Me, Sources of Strength at RMS and RHS and through training opportunities for both staff and students.

Parent and Family Engagement and Schoolwide Plans
