The Republic School District would like to congratulate Jaysen Rodriguez, who graduated from Republic High School in the Class of 2025, as he was awarded a rootEd Undergraduate Scholarship!
Mr. Rodriguez was among 30 students across the state to receive the awards, which are worth up to $12,000 and renewable for up to five years to support the students' pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. He is studying at the University of Miami. According to the rootEd Alliance, Mr. Rodriguez's selection is particularly noteworthy given this year’s competitive application cycle.
rootEd Alliance, a national nonprofit, partners with rural high schools across Missouri to ensure every student graduates with a plan for what’s next – whether college, career training, military service or entering the workforce.
The rootEd Undergraduate Scholarship is a “last dollar” award, designed to fill critical financial aid gaps after all other sources are considered, ensuring that rural students can attend college and graduate with little to no debt.
Join us in congratulating Mr. Rodriguez for this recognition!
Republic High School students who would like more information about the rootEd Alliance scholarship can email Brandy Krudwig, RHS Student Success Counselor.
