We are excited to share that RIS Counselor, Morgan Hoey has been selected as our OCTOBER REPMO HERO OF THE MONTH! Mrs. Hoey has been instrumental in opening the new RIS building, does an amazing job building strong relationships with students and is an excellent teammate who goes above and beyond to invest in the culture of her building! We are thankful she is a RepMO Tiger!

Mrs. Hoey will be honored at an upcoming Board of Education meeting and will receive $500 to be spent on the resources of her choice. She will also receive an additional paid day off.

Morgan Hoey has been absolutely instrumental in the successful opening of Republic Intermediate School! We could not have opened our doors without her diligent work and commitment. Morgan meticulously prepared schedules and enrolled students for two grade levels, all while continuing to fulfill her counseling duties at the middle school last spring.
Morgan is a “doer” in every sense of the word. She is always the first to jump in and ensure that tasks get done, no matter the challenge! Her leadership and positive energy permeate throughout our building, and have set a strong foundation for our school culture. Students often mistake her for a building principal due to her level of engagement and involvement at RIS.
In addition to her counseling role, Morgan serves as our Leader in Me building coordinator, leads the Staff Action Team for Assemblies and sponsors our after-school intramurals club. Through all of this, she continues to pour into our students each day helping them learn, grow and serve as students at RIS!
Morgan truly embodies what it means to be a RepMO Hero. She goes above and beyond the call of duty, is dedicated, servant-hearted and committed to excellence in everything she does!
