At the November Board of Education meeting, members approved Mr. Justin Neal as the next Director of Technology for the Republic School District, starting January 1, 2026.
Mr. Neal brings extensive experience in technology leadership, systems management, and customer-centered service. Most recently, he has served as a Data Center Operations Manager at Jack Henry, where he led a multi-shift team, managed large-scale server environments, collaborated with enterprise technology teams across the organization, ensured compliance with federal audits and maintained high-level service delivery for internal and external customers.
He holds an MBA in IT Management, a Master’s in Education focused on Instructional Technology, and several IT certifications. A Republic High School graduate, Mr. Neal is a long-time RepMO resident and an active member of the community – currently serving on City Council.
Mr. Neal will work closely with current Director of Technology John Howard throughout the second semester to ensure a smooth transition for our students and staff. Mr. Howard will retire on June 30, 2026 after many years of service to our schools.
We look forward to welcoming Mr. Neal to the RepMO Team, while we extend our gratitude to Mr. Howard for his leadership and continued service during this transition.
