A compilation of nominations received in regards to Mrs. Schroeder from district employees is below.
McCulloch proudly nominates Amy Schroeder as our RepMO Hero nominee for December. Amy Schroeder is the very definition of a RepMO Hero! Her impact reaches far beyond the students she directly serves as she elevates instruction, empowers teachers and strengthens literacy outcomes across our entire building and district.
Amy has poured countless hours into writing phonics curriculum for 2nd and 3rd grade, creating high-quality instructional resources, and ensuring that teachers have the tools they need to support all learners. This is also evident in her work on RSP phonics screeners. She leads our District literacy interventionist with urgency and passion. Amy has also been instrumental in helping shift our districtwide intervention model to support more students with strategic and focused efforts.
What sets Amy apart is her dedication to students. She knows their strengths, understands their struggles, and celebrates every bit of progress, no matter how small! She approaches intervention with patience, purpose and compassion, building confidence alongside skills. Many students in our building look forward each day to the time they get to spend with her.
Amy leads quietly but powerfully. She is an absolute joy to work with, and we are so blessed to have her expertise at McCulloch, where she ensures students and teachers are growing to be kind, high-achieving, lifelong learners!
