We are thrilled to announce that Sheryl Blankenship, Core Data & Executive Assistant, has been named as our March RepMO Hero winner! Sheryl has been with the Republic School District for 31 years, and has made a huge impact on our district and those we serve. It is an honor to celebrate her with this accolade!

Sheryl will be honored at an upcoming Board of Education meeting, and will receive $500 to be spent on the resources of her choice. She will also receive an additional paid day off.

Central Office is proud to nominate Sheryl Blankenship for the RepMO Hero Award. As our Core Data and Executive Administrative Assistant and Board of Education Secretary, Sheryl plays a vital role in the function of the district, ensuring accuracy in state reporting while supporting district leadership and staff. Her work requires precision, organization, and deep knowledge of complex systems, all of which she handles with exceptional professionalism. Sheryl is a trusted resource for many, consistently stepping in to help others with patience and positivity. When questions arise, she takes initiative to find accurate answers, often collaborating with DESE and colleagues in other districts to ensure clarity and consistency. Throughout her career, Sheryl has supported the district through tremendous growth, serving alongside multiple superintendents while student enrollment and staff numbers have more than doubled. Through it all, she has remained a steady, knowledgeable presence, helping guide the district with consistency and care. Since joining Republic Schools in 1995, Sheryl has built a legacy of dedication and service that has impacted countless people and processes. As she prepares to retire, it is especially meaningful to recognize the lasting contributions she has made. Sheryl truly embodies what it means to be a RepMO Hero.
